On Shabbat Chananya and I played together for many long hours.  We played soccer, making baskets, uno, a game that Sasha made, Dixit, and we made a 100 piece puzzle with Orli, Chaviva, and Sasha. This picture was taken before Shabbat.  Chananya and I took our showers early, got dressed, and cooperated with Sasha so we could watch a video. Grandpa came over to help grill the burgers with Shmuel.

 When Chananya had to go into isolation because a fellow-camper had coronavirus, Lazar went with Sasha to the toy store to buy some items that would keep Chananya occupied and happy.  Of course, the up-side to helping Sasha was that Lazar got to pick out a toy for himself as well.  He picked a minecraft lego set.  The pieces are very small; the directions are complicated; but Lazar figured out how to build some of the parts by himself. Chananya ended up being in isolation only for one day.  Lazar was thrilled that he could be with his brother again.  They both missed each other's company.  Thursday night here in Jerusalem it was very hot.  Sasha let the boys stay up a little later than usual, but falling asleep in their own bedroom was next to impossible.  It was so hot upstairs!  They asked if they could sleep in "her" room where it was much cooler.  Of course the answer was yes.  They immediately moved downstairs, took over t...

Day 2 (morning)

 I woke up a few minutes ago.  I ate breakfast with Chananya at the table.  Chananya left for camp and I am home with Sasha and Grandpa.  Yesterday we had macaoni and cheese for dinner.  I was busy making pillow chairs while grandpa and Chaviva made the dinner.   We bought pineapple that is yummy.  We also bought borekas and I ate borekas yesterday.

 We went shopping at the shuk, English Cake, and Super Cheap this morning.  We bought borekas, ramen noodles in a bowl, pineapple, blueberries, watermelon, and milk.  When we got home I was very hungry.  I ate a boreka, some blueberries, and all of the noodles.

 Words from Lazar:  I want to play on the computer.  I slept in my own bed last night.  I woke up in Sasha's bed.  I slept until 6:45 a.m.  I got dressed all by myself with tzizit.  I ate cereal and milk when I sat by Chananya.  I played some songs on our toy piano.  And right now I am wanting to play on the computer.   I hope you guys have a good trip.  I hope you will have a lot of good stuff.  I hope you enjoy seeing Abby & Jemma.
